This great looking medal is in good to very good condition. The medal is enameled on sterling silver with a gold wash. The medal is marked with the date the organization formed in 1784. The medal has Lodge of Temperance spelled out with a C on an intertwined snake. The ribbon is blue watered silk with a single pin on the back. The medal is hallmarked with a JS in a block, a Lion passant, a shield in a shield shape with the letter I on it, the letter I in a shield shape and the Queen Victoria I in an oval. The medal is dated from 1884 from the Monarchy mark and London date mark. There is a name engraved on the back, Robert Augustus Morgan. This is in a red box with some wear and damage from age.
